The Putting Zoo
Completed and opened in the summer of 2023, the 18-hole putting course in St Thomas was how our client, a local golf enthusiast and philanthropist, wanted to give back to her local community. The brief was to design and build a layout that was suited primarily for children with a zoo theme. Many of the holes have very quirky designs and features scaled replicas of animals around the course. These animals also project the sounds that these animals make, giving one an experience of playing golf in a zoo.
Set on a large site, the holes are well laid out with large landscaping areas giving one a sense of space and relaxation. Despite it being designed primarily for children, the putting course has also been a huge success with parents and other adults in the area
