Waratah GC enlisted the services of Himalayas Golf to layout a masterplan for a golf entertainment facility at their golf club. The brief was that the facility incorporate an enclosed driving range with the capacity for 20 hitting bays, a putting course, an enhancement to the current restaurant facility, and be designed to allow for future expansion and addition of further amenities.

The golf facilities must be designed and suitable for both the avid and non-golfer. This included the redesign of the 18th hole to create the necessary space, and improve the design and visibility of the hole from the clubhouse and new facility.

In addition to this, Himalayas Golf were asked to look at all areas around the clubhouse to maximise member benefits. HG identified areas to be developed for member use, including a new short game practice area, expansion to the putting green, and wedge target greens.

The project is in planning stages and is awaiting approval from local authorities.
