Our Story
2000
Our founder Paul Jansen starts working with Maryland-based golf course architects Ault, Clark, and Associates outside of Washington DC.
2004
Paul is hired by Sir Nick Faldo’s design firm based in the UK and Switzerland where he works as lead golf course architect on projects in Europe and Asia.
2010
Paul creates Jansen Golf Design & Construction and moves back to North America to engage in the North American market while servicing projects internationally.
2018
Paul creates Pelz Player Greens with short-game golf guru Dave and Eddie Pelz offering the most realistic bounce, check, and roll underlayment system.
2018
Pelz Player Greens expands its construction division to service the expanding portfolio of projects.
2019
PGA / LGPA Tour Coach Gareth Raflewski joins forces to further expand practice and performance-driven facilities in North America and globally
2023
The Jansen Golf Group & Pelz Player Greens gets rebranded as Himalayas Golf to form the main vehicle for all Jansen Golf Design, Pelz Player Greens, and Raflewski Golf Design and construction services.
2024
Himalayas Golf continues to expand into new regions including Africa and the Middle East.

2025
Himalayas Golf partners with Gareth Raflewski to introduce gamification, enhancing golf facilities with interactive challenges that boost engagement, skill development, and performance, making training more effective and enjoyable.

Golf In Small Spaces is Created in partnership with Sir Nick Faldo.
