Paul Jansen is the principal architect/president of Himalayas Golf Design Inc. An award-winning Golf Course Architect who advocates for a more sustainable approach to designing, building, and maintaining golf courses, Paul has worked across the globe on a variety of different golf projects using grass and artificial turf.
Having grown up in South Africa, Paul began his career in the USA with Ault, Clark, and Associates before relocating to Europe in 2000 which saw him appointed as Lead Architect for Sir Nick Faldo, servicing projects across the globe.
In 2010 Paul created Jansen Golf Design and Construction and moved back to North America to engage in the North American audience whilst still servicing projects internationally. In 2018 Paul partnered with short-game golf guru, Dave Pelz and in 2019 with PGA / LPGA Tour Coach Gareth Raflewski to provide clients with short-game facility design.

Wayne McDonald is a distinguished figure in both the golfing and business worlds. He is co-founder of Himalayas Golf and McDonald’s innovative approach focuses on sustainable platforms, making Himalayas Golf a leader in eco-conscious golfing solutions.
Born in Winnipeg, he attended high school in Toronto, and earned a golf scholarship to Indiana University, where he was inducted into the IU Hall of Fame in 2010. His golfing achievements include being elected First Team NCAA All-American twice, and the first Canadian to do so. As an amateur he was the Canadian Junior and Canadian Amateur Champion and becoming a Senior Professional golfer and competing in prestigious tournaments like the US Senior Open, British Senior Open, and Canadian Senior Open, with multiple wins on secondary Senior Tours.
Beyond golf, Wayne McDonald has made significant contributions to various industries. He is the founder of Evnroll Canada, Catalyst Golf, Pelz Player Greens, Raflewski Golf, Matteson Partners Inc., Golf Training Systems, and Cornerstone Products Inc. Each venture reflects McDonald’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence.

Munawarali is an experienced finance and business advisory professional with experience in Canadian and global markets, including South Asia, Middle East & UK. Munawarali has been associated with the golfing industry in Canada for 5 years. At Himalayas Golf Inc., he is a strategic business partner to the Management Team, supporting it in finance, planning & budgeting, organizational development, corporate affairs, and governance.
He is solution-oriented with a strategic mindset, and enthusiastic about guiding enterprises navigate present day challenges and future-proof the business.
Munawarali maintains a high degree of engagement and interest in his role, and draws the best from the team, nourishing cooperation, and help keeping the team productive & motivated. He also takes keen interest in environmental, social and governance best practices.
He has had a remarkable career trajectory, including Partner & Senior Director roles with PWC & KPMG. He was Global Lead within KPMG’s Global Advisory Learning & Development for Transactions & Restructuring practice, based out of Toronto, Canada. During his association with professional firms, Munawarali led due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, process improvement and human resource consulting teams.
